BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

The Dark Knight Rises Leading Lady Casting News

Who Would You Choose? Chris Nolan is lining up actresses he'll meet for two female lead roles in The Dark Knight Rises , the third installment of the Batfranchise which Warner Bros has dated release on July 20, 2012. I'm told one of the roles is a love interest for Christian Bale's Bruce Wayne, and the other is a villain. The actresses are: Rachel Weisz, Naomi Watts, Blake Lively, Natalie Portman, Anne Hathaway and Keira Knightley . Nolan is keeping the roles under wraps, just the way that he did when he drafted his Inception star Tom Hardy to come aboard to likely play a villain. Deadline broke that story October 13. I'm still not sure what the role is and I believe Hardy took the job without knowing or reading a script that's still being tweaked. Please Leave A Comment- Source- Deadline

The Dark Knight Rises Against Who? By: Jonathan Cyfer

The Dark Knight Rises Against Who? By: Jonathan Cyfer Chris Nolan recently released the name of the third Batman film he will direct and also specifically stated that the Riddler will not be the villain . Early buzz targeted Johnny Depp for the Riddler role in the third Batman film but now we see this is not going to happen. So who will be the main bad guy or bad gal? We also recently learned that Nolan is looking for a female lead for this film, which immediately brings Catwoman to mind, but that's hardly a foregone conclusion, since Poison Ivy or Harley Quinn are equally (or almost) compelling choices. Also, the female lead doesn't have to be a villain, since there have been a number of "good girls" to work opposite Batman over the years such as Vicki Vale and Barbara (Batgirl) Gordon. Let me knock a few possibilities out of the running right away. Bringing in Harley without the Joker would be a total waste (and without Heath Ledger, there is no Joker a...

Tom Hardy Cast As Lead In Batman 3

What Role Will Tom Hardy Play In Batman 3? While Tom Hardy 's plan to play Mad Max in the George Miller-directed Mad Max: Fury Road has hit another delay, the fast-rising Hardy's in the mix for another big film at Warner Bros. I'm told that Hardy has been set by his Inception director Chris Nolan for a lead role in the next Batman film at Warner Bros. Insiders are keeping the role secret and won't even say if he's up for a villain role, but that seems a reasonable assumption. Hardy has followed up Inception with lead roles in the Tomas Alfredson-directed adaptation of the John Le Carre novel Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy, and he's currently starring with Chris Pine and Reese Witherspoon in the McG-directed Fox comedy This Means War . Christopher Nolan Set For Batman 3

Christopher Nolan Set For Batman 3 You may have guessed, you may have assumed it, but until now we hadn't had confirmation from the studio or the man himself that Christopher Nolan would be back to direct Batman 3 / The Dark Knight 2 (or whatever we're calling it). "It’s becoming inevitable, I’ll put it that way," says Nolan. "I feel myself falling into it, I guess. And getting it all figured out and I’m pretty excited about what we’re doing so… If I haven’t announced it, I think that people probably all know at this point that I’m doing it." Hang on, that's not 100% clear: so we can safely assume you're directing? "I think you can at this point, yes." So as of right now, Nolan will return. You may also have spotted the "getting it all figured out" there: when we asked Nolan what he was busy with as we called, the answer was that he's working on Jonathan Nolan's script for the film. In other words, there is a scr...

Christopher Nolan Talks Superman Reboot And Batman 3

Christopher Nolan Talks Superman Reboot And Batman 3 Great day over here since director Christopher Nolan would serve as a mentor figure on the new Superman reboot films, and that he is finally moving forward with Batman 3. And we get some details on his upcoming projects.La Times did an interview with Nolan recently. Here is what he said about Batman 3 and how the third film will end the franchise. Without getting into specifics, the key thing that makes the third film a great possibility for us is that we want to finish our story, and in viewing it as the finishing of a story rather than infinitely blowing up the balloon and expanding the story. We have a great ensemble, that's one of the attractions of doing another film, since we've been having a great time for years. Chirs Nolan said that Batman 3 is being written by his brother Jonathan. And let us know that his brother is having a hard time to put together an epic story. I’m very excited about the end of the fil...

David Goyer Writing Next Batman Film? David Goyer is leaving the ABC show Flash forward to concentrate on feature films. David said. "I'm proud of the show and excited about the relaunch. David Goyer Is Going To Take On Ghost Rider Sequel

David Goyer Is Going To Take On Ghost Rider Alright, now I'm seeing a trend in superhero sequels. Batman got better, The Hulk got alot better, now this... Let's cross our finger. Columbia Pictures has begun to rev the throttle on a second installment of the Marvel Comics character “ Ghost Rider .” David Goyer is in early talks to create the story and supervise writers for a film expected to once again star Nicolas Cage , who played the highly flammable cyclist in the 2007 original. Through a spokesperson, Goyer said he hadn’t signed on yet. But plans are already under way to base the sequel on a “Ghost Rider” script written years ago by Goyer, whose superhero work includes hit screen transfers of DC’s “Batman Begins” and Marvel’s “Blade” franchise. The original “Ghost Rider” was scripted by director Mark Steven Johnson. The activity on “Ghost Rider” follows a flurry of activity on Marvel characters at almost every studio but Disney, which acquired Marvel Entertainment in a $4...

Here Kitty Kitty Megan Fox To Be In Batman 3 As Catwoman?

Here Kitty Kitty Megan Fox To Be In Batman 3 As Catwoman? Hey It works for me she is not one of best actresses around but I could watch a movie with just her sitting in a chair. According to The Sun, Megan Fox is Slated to play Catwoman in the Next installment of the Batman Franchise. I believe that this is a Huge Rumor and take with a grain of Salt. For one thing, there's no script, and no one connected with the project has said a thing about Catwoman even being in the movie. Indeed, Nolan's more likely to select an adversary who hasn't had a lot of screen time in previous film incarnations of the comic-book franchise. For another, given Nolan's artfulness in reinventing the comic franchise each time out, it's extremely unlikely that he would hire an actress previously known primarily as eye candy for giant-robot fans to play what could be a psychologically complex villain and potential love interest for Christian Bale's Bruce Wayne/Batman, even if the char...
