BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

Enter For A Chance To Win Passes To See LUCY AND DESI In San Francisco

Enter For A Chance To Win Passes To See LUCY AND DESI  On March 2nd at 7:00 PM in San Francisco.   From director Amy Poehler , LUCY AND DESI explores the unlikely partnership and enduring legacy of one of the most prolific power couples in entertainment history. Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz risked everything to be together. Their love for each other led to the most influential show in the history of television, I Love Lucy. Desi –an immigrant from Cuba who lost everything in exile, became a band leader, and eventually a brilliant producer and technical pioneer. Lucille came from nothing and, with an unrivaled work ethic, built a career as a model, chorus girl and eventually as an actor in the studio system. She found her calling in comedy, first in radio. When Lucille was finally granted the opportunity to have her own television show, she insisted that her real-life spouse, Desi, be cast as her husband. Defying the odds, they re-invented the medium, on the screen and behind the cameras

Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later Coming In 2017

Though it suffered very slightly from the same working-around-busy-schedules malaise that afflicted the fourth, Netflix-set series of Arrested Development, Wet Hot American Summer: First Day Of Camp was still a comedy delight and chronologically unsound story earlier this year. Now the streaming service has announced that another follow-up, called Ten Years Later , will hit our screens in 2017. So it's not a sequel to First Day Of Camp , but a follow-up to the 2001 film and still won't quite catch up with the chronological ages of the cast, but nobody cares about that because when you have the likes of Amy Poehler, Paul Rudd, Michael Showalter, David Wain and even (we bet he makes time again) Bradley Cooper , you quit thinking about that and just enjoy the absurdity. No casting has been confirmed yet, though we'd expect those named and a good portion of the rest of the usual gang to show up for the new series, which will run for eight 30-minute episodes. Blu-ray Review #SistersMovie

Among the many things that men hold an unfair monopoly on over women are comedies about adults who never progressed beyond childhood. Man-child comedies are basically a subgenre unto themselves, spanning from The Jerk to Dumb and Dumber to the bulk of the Judd Apatow-associated films of the past decade. But why can’t women also be overgrown children for our amusement? Amy Schumer’s Trainwreck this past summer at least scratched in the general vicinity of the itch, but didn’t quite get there, as her character was irresponsible in chiefly adult ways. Where the women-children at? Sisters answers that call with great gusto. The film, starring real-life besties Amy Poehler and Tina Fey, introduces us to the Ellis sisters, Kate and Maura. Maura (Poehler) is a tightly-wound nurse with a deep-seated need to care for and please others. Kate is the opposite, a reckless washout who can hold neither a job nor a residence and whose put-upon daughter (Madison Davenport from From Dusk Till Dawn:

#SistersMovie Available On Digital HD 3/1 & Blu-ray & DVD 3/15

Comedy superstars Tina Fey (“30 Rock,” “SNL”) and Amy Poehler (“Parks and Recreation,” “SNL”) reunite in Sisters, the uproarious hit coming to Digital HD on March 1, 2016, and Blu-ray™, DVD and On Demand on March 15, 2016, from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment. From Pitch Perfect director Jason Moore, Sisters is a “hilarious, heartfelt and downright dysfunctional” (Rama’s Screen) delight, perfect to share with friends — and relatives. The Blu-ray™, DVD and Digital HD versions feature even more of Tina and Amy’s outrageous shenanigans in a new Unrated Version, as well as over an hour of deleted and extended scenes, gag reel and more! When the Ellis sisters, the always-responsible Maura (Poehler) and impossibly hotheaded Kate (Fey), receive word from their retired mom and dad that their family home is on the market, they discover they have one weekend left to clean out the old junk in their bedroom. As they comb through the artifacts of their teen years, Maura and Kate’s tri
