The secret's almost out. Super 8 will open in theaters everywhere tonight and we'll finally see if it lives up to the hype. But before we can do that, Paramount has released a new viral video that gives us our first look at the supposed "villain" of the story. I'm sure you are well aware that Twitter and Paramount teamed up for SUPER 8 sneak previews, as the film is now being released tomorrow, So if you live in Northern California it will be playing  at the Metreon in San Francisco, and the Century Greenback in Sacramento The video shows a group of scientists (starting in the late 1950s) who are working on a top-secret military experiment. Super 8 Movie Review By: SandwichJohn I gotta say that the movie did take me back to being a kid and watching E.T or Goonies for the first time. A group of kids on an adventure to find out the true about something. Super 8 has amazing visual effects, camera work, and the sound was just mind blowing. And I think that Elle Fanning and Joel Courtney will be getting a ton of movie offers after this film. This is going to be their break out film. With all the mystery surrounding the film , did it help or hurt the film? The box office will answer that next week. But I thought they did a great job teasing what was in the Air Force container. And I will not spoil that for you. From Writer- Director J.J. Abrams comes a film that will take you back to your childhood, with all the happiness of hanging out with friends, your fears, and sadness. The Lovely Bones Movie Review By:Windy Windy has been a busy girl this week. I don't know when she finds the time to write reviews for my site and work on her own . We are so glad she is a part of the SandwichJohnFilms team. “The Lovely Bones”, based on the best-selling novel of the same name by Alice Sebold and directed by Peter Jackson, is the story about a family dealing with the crisis of their murdered 14-year old daughter, Susie Salmon, and her father’s hunt for her killer. Most of the story is told from Susie’s point of view after her murder, as she watches her family struggle to cope with her loss and search for her killer. She is stuck in what her younger brother refers to as “the in-between” – a place between Earth and heaven – because she refuses to let go of her family or her killer. Susie, played by Saoirse Ronan (“Atonement”) gives a moving portrayal of a spirit running a gamut of emotions, starting with confusion, moving to fear, and ultimately release.
