There Are Some Surprises With the year coming close to the end we thought we would wrap up the Top Ten films of 2010 . The list ranges from A toy in a box to sexy vampires, a boy wizard, a green ogre and even a titan if you can believe that.  I was surprised to see some of the box office totals for these film. Check out the list after the Jump.. 1.Toy Story 3 The Pixar threequel, shot in 3D, grossed $1.1 billion at the box office . Domestically, it grossed a handy $415 million. The news overseas was even better, where Toy Story 3 grossed $648.1 million. Not bad for a franchise that took a decade-long hiatus. The extra charge for a 3D ticket no doubt boosted the bottom line for Pixar and Disney. 2. Alice in Wonderland In the months leading up to the release of Disney’s Alice in Wonderland, there was rampant speculation about whether audiences would embrace Tim Burton’s retelling of Lewis Carroll’s classic tale. "Halo: Reach" Breaks Records " Halo: Reach ," Microsoft's prequel to one of the video game industry's biggest franchises, recorded more than $200 million in sales in the U.S. and Europe on its first day. Microsoft late Wednesday highlighted that the sales for the first 24 hours make "Halo: Reach" not only its biggest game release ever, but also the biggest U.S. entertainment launch of the year. Its one-day gross exceeded the opening weekend box-office hauls of Hollywood blockbusters such as " Iron Man 2 ," " Alice in Wonderland " and " Toy Story 3 ," the company emphasized. The new game, which hit stores Tuesday, also exceeded the previous "Halo's" first-day haul of $170 million, which had set an opening record in 2007. But it fell short of the record $310 million in sales set last year by " Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 ." "Reach" is an Xbox 360-only title, while the Activisi

Shia LaBeouf Is Money In The Bank Shia LaBeouf is money in the bank for the second year in a row. Forbes has has put out this years list. For every dollar Shia LaBeouf is paid, the movie he appears in earns an $81 in profit. I would buy his stock if they were for sale. Now I am sure it has to do with the movies that he has starred in the last two years, like " Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull ," good for $787 million worldwide, and " Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen ," which brought in $836 million worldwide. Anne Hathaway lcame is second, which might be a surprise to some, but with  " Alice in Wonderland " took in $1 billion  worldwide and, to an obviously lesser degree, " Bride Wars ," which brought in $115 million. Hathaway's movies generate $64 in profit for each $1 she earns. Rounding out the Top 5 were Daniel Radcliffe ($61 in profit for each $1 paid), Robert Downey Jr . ($33) and Cate Blanchett ($27).

Disney Wants A Live Action "Cinderella" Movie After Disney’s new version Alice in Wonderland turned in a 3D record breaking opening weekend of $116 million and became a global juggernaut, there has been a resurgence of movie interest in timeless classics. For instance, there is a stampede for public domain literary properties like The Wizard of Oz, and Warner Bros is mulling a new version. Universal Pictures is trying to figure out when to unveil a movie version of the stage musical smash Wicked. Now Disney has made a 7-figure pitch deal for Cinderella, the working title of a live action reimagining of the classic fairy tale to be written by Aline Brosh McKenna. She’s the scribe behind The Devil Wears Prada and 27 Dresses, and the upcoming Paramount comedy Morning Glory, and We Bought a Zoo, the Fox comedy which Cameron Crowe will direct--with Fox just setting a December 23, 2011 release date. Tim Burton To Direct Addams Family 3D Animation Film Tim Burton is going to be jumping on board for the upcoming 3D Addams Family animation film, the film will be based on Charles Addams' original ghoulish cartoon drawings of The Addams Family, the pictures were once a staple of The New Yorker magazine. Other than being inspired by the same source material, the animated feature is unrelated to previous incarnations of Addams’ work, the 60s TV series, the two `90s feature film comedies that Barry Sonnenfeld directed with Raul Julia and Anjelica Huston, or the Broadway musical opening this spring with Nathan Lane and Bebe Neuwirth in the starring roles. Disney To Release Blu-ray's In 3D Disney, which says it has produced more 3D content than any other major, will begin rolling out 3D Blu-ray titles this year beginning with "Disney's A Christmas Carol" and followed by "Alice in Wonderland" and "Toy Story 3." Television sets with 3D capabilities are all the rage at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas this week, so it's no surprise that studios have waited until now to officially commit to the technology by announcing specific titles. Hence, Sony also said Thursday that its first 3D Blu-ray title will be "Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs," which will come out about the same time Sony Electronics debuts its Bravia 3D-enabled LCD television sets. Here is part one recap of Comic Con 2009. What a Week. Starting it off was The Craze that is Know As Twilight New Moon. As you can see in this picture this was the line to get into Hall H. And the Twilight Panel was the Third panel that Morning. I would have to say that I was most excited to see the Tron panel.
