Assembled: The Making of ‘The Falcon and The Winter Soldier' Streaming Now


Go behind the scenes of Marvel Studios’ hit series “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier” with a brand-new, documentary-style special “Assembled: The Making of ‘The Falcon and The Winter Soldier.” 

  

Streaming exclusively on Disney+ now, the second episode of this groundbreaking series of documentary-style specials follows Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan and members of the cast and crew as they take fans inside the making of the hard-hitting series “The Falcon and The Winter Soldier.” Viewers will learn how the roots of these two characters reach as far back as “Captain America: The Winter Soldier,” and the momentum has steadily built over their subsequent films. The creative minds behind the series leaned into these characters’ rich storylines along with the dynamic chemistry between Mackie and Stan as a launch pad for the series to explore the post-blip world while drawing inspiration from and coming to terms with the legacy of Captain America. The cast and crew will talk about the special alchemy they’ve developed for the series by blending genres from spy thrillers to buddy cop vehicles. The episode also showcases how the team filmed the high-flying, globe-trotting action, brought back fan favorites such as Emily VanCamp’s Sharon Carter and Daniel Brühl’s Baron Zemo, and introduced new characters into the mix

“The Falcon and The Winter Soldier” stars Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson aka The Falcon, and Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes aka The Winter Soldier. The pair, who came together in the final moments of “Avengers: Endgame,” team up on a global adventure that tests their abilities—and their patience. Directed by Kari Skogland with Malcolm Spellman serving as head writer, the six-episode series also stars Wyatt Russell as John Walker, Emily VanCamp as Sharon Carter, Daniel Brühl as Baron Zemo, Danny Ramirez as Joaquin Torres, Adepero Oduye as Sarah Wilson and Erin Kellyman as Karli Morgenthau. All six episodes of “The Falcon and The Winter Soldier” are now streaming on Disney+.

Naked Gun Reboot On It's Way

If you've seen Naked Gun - or The Naked Gun: From The Files Of Police Squad ! to give its full title - you'll know that it's a comedic masterpiece that springboards off astonishing levels of silliness and random spoofery. Leslie Nielsen's Frank Drebin is a loveable buffoon for the ages, even when he's discussing his dicky prostrate. Do not, however, expect the Ed Helms -starring reboot to adopt exactly the same tack. According to Naked Gun director/co-writer David Zucker, talking up Airplane!'s screening at Nashville's Wild West Comedy Festival, the new version will not attempt to hit the same spoofy sweet spot as the Zuckers and Jim Abrahams' 1988 comedy. "It won’t be like the Naked Gun that I did," Zucker revealed. "It may be good, but it won’t be that kind of movie. They’re going to use the title. They asked me if I wanted to produce.
