PEORIA FILM FEST RETURNS October 10th to October 13th

It’s that time of year again! Peoria Film Fest is returning for its 2nd year, occurring this year from its opening night on Thursday, October 10th to its conclusion on Sunday, October 13th. The four day festival will be held once again at Harkins Arrowhead Fountains Theatres located at 16046 North Arrowhead Fountains Center Drive, Peoria, AZ 85382. “We’re excited to be returning to the City of Peoria. It’s an honor to be able to present great films in the Northwest Valley.” said Phoenix Film Foundation Executive Director Jason Carney.

If you are a movie lover, this is an event not to be missed. Tickets and passes go on sale Monday, September 16th, and will be available through the Peoria Film Fest website www.peoriafilmfest.com. Tickets may also be purchased in person on Thursday, October 10th at the Peoria Film Fest Ticket Center in the lobby of Harkins Arrowhead Fountains Theatre. Naked Gun Reboot On It's Way

If you've seen Naked Gun - or The Naked Gun: From The Files Of Police Squad ! to give its full title - you'll know that it's a comedic masterpiece that springboards off astonishing levels of silliness and random spoofery. Leslie Nielsen's Frank Drebin is a loveable buffoon for the ages, even when he's discussing his dicky prostrate. Do not, however, expect the Ed Helms -starring reboot to adopt exactly the same tack. According to Naked Gun director/co-writer David Zucker, talking up Airplane!'s screening at Nashville's Wild West Comedy Festival, the new version will not attempt to hit the same spoofy sweet spot as the Zuckers and Jim Abrahams' 1988 comedy. "It won’t be like the Naked Gun that I did," Zucker revealed. "It may be good, but it won’t be that kind of movie. They’re going to use the title. They asked me if I wanted to produce. In the film, which officially kicks off phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Super-Hero partners Scott Lang ( Paul Rudd ) and Hope Van Dyne ( Evangeline Lilly ) return to continue their adventures as Ant-Man and the Wasp. Together, with Hope’s parents Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) and Janet Van Dyne ( Michelle Pfeiffer ), the family finds themselves exploring the Quantum Realm, interacting with strange new creatures and embarking on an adventure that will push them beyond the limits of what they thought was possible.
