The series adaptation of the action film “ Hanna ” at Amazon has found its three leads, Variety has learned. In a weird bit of news timing, Amazon just announced that it was planning a TV series based on Conan The Barbarian , which is unlikely to star one Arnold Schwarzenegger. But Arnie is also involved with the company, as he's now attached to star in and produce a Western series called Outrider . According to Deadline, this is being described as an "event series", which usually means a more limited run of episodes, especially given the big name involved. And while Schwarzenegger doesn't exactly fly to the top of the list of actors you'd naturally associate with Westerns, his accent will be explained away, as he's playing a Federal Marshal who arrived in the States from Europe. The actor is in negotiations to star in the film adaptation of The Art of Racing in the Rain for Fox 2000. Simon Curtis, helmer of last year’s drama Goodbye Christopher Robin, has been tapped to direct the adaptation of the best-selling novel by Garth Stein, which was picked up last year. Neal Moritz is producing the feature along with Tania Landau and Patrick Dempsey, who at one point was attached to star in the project. The book focuses on a family dog named Enzo who evaluates his life through the lessons learned by his human owner, a professional race-car driver named Denny Swift.
