Quentin Tarantino has assembled a stellar cast for his next film Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, bringing together the likes of Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio, Al Pacino and Burt Reynolds. And while we’ve had our first glimpse at Pitt and DiCaprio in character, Margot Robbie has shared a new image from the set offering a look at her playing actress and model Sharon Tate.
The film, written and directed by Tarantino, takes place in 1969 Los Angeles, and takes place around the time of the Manson murders. Tarantino has previously stated that the Manson murders aren’t the main focus of the film, claiming: “It’s not Charles Manson, it’s 1969”. However, Sharon Tate was famously one of the victims of the murders. Originally, Once Upon A Time In Hollywood was scheduled for release on the 50th anniversary of Tate’s death – but the date has since been brought forward by two weeks, meaning it’s getting a 26 July release next year in the US.
The film is currently in production, and recent weeks have seen streets in Hollywood get a 1960s makeover for the shoot. Filming is expected to continue through the autumn for next summer’s release.
