By: Mackenzie Schadel
Our own Mackenzie Schadel went out to cover Wizard World Comic Con Sacramento for us this weekend. And by her cosplay she wasn't one to mess with.
Wizard World Comic Con Sacramento 2017 was the place to be in Sacramento this past weekend. If you enjoy comics, gaming, cosplay, and other fun events, Wizard World Comic Con Sacramento was the place to be. Not only were there fun activities, but there were many celebrities who held interview panels as well as offering autographs and photo opportunities. Below are some of the highlights:
Kate Beckinsale of “Underworld” fame graciously answered questions for fans during an interview as well as did autographs and photo ops.
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”, four original cast members appeared at Wizard World Comic Con Sacramento 2017 including James Marsters, Emma Caulfield, Nicholas Brendon, and Charisma Carpenter. James Marsters band, “Ghost of the Robot”, even did a show at the end of Saturday’s events!
Another highlight was Eliza Taylor of “The 100”. She brought along a special guest who came to the stage, her brother!
Many other celebrities put in an appearance this year including: Val Kilmer, Michael Rooker, Edward James Olmos, Kevin Sorbo, Jon Heder, Sean Gunn, and everyone’s favorite Hulk, Lou Ferrigno.
We look forward to Wizard World Comic Con Sacramento’s return next year and we hope to see you there!
