BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

Marvel's The Runaways Have Been Cast

Let's face it, when it comes to Marvel, Hulu, like everyone else, has Netflix envy, and they're attempting to prove their prowess by mounting an adaptation of Brian K. Vaughan and Adrian Alphona's Runaways. Allusions aside, and more to the point, the pilot has found its cast.

The Runaways is forcused on six teenagers who learn that each of their parents are a part of The Pride, a supervillain cabal. This discovery sends them on the run and results in their forming a family unit of their own at the same time they're discovering themselves as people.

Rhenzy Feliz (Alex Wilder)

Feliz has appeared on Teen Wolf and in ten episodes of the Hulu series Casual. The character is described as a proud nerd and a fan of video games, who at his core wants nothing more than to meet up with the group of friends he grew up with.

Lyrica Okano (Nico Minoru)

Prior to this pilot, Okano has appeared on the TV series The Michael J. Fox Show, Unforgettable and The Affair. Nico, who puts out the vibe that she'd prefer to be alone, tries to do so by crafting a goth appearance for herself. In reality she might not be as independent as she seems.

Virginia Gardner (Karolina Dean)

Gardner has made a number of TV guest appearances, including a recurring role on The Goldbergs, and the films Goat and Little Bitches. Her character of Karolina Dean puts on the perfect, carefully-crafted front, but beneath the surface she's on a personal journey of discovery.

Ariela Barer (Gert Yokes)

Barer counts recurring roles on Keenan's Crush, New Girl and Netflix's reboot of One Day At A Time on her resume. Gert Yokes is considered a "riot grrl," personified by her purple hair and penchant for giving soapbox speeches. All of it is designed to hide her real feelings.

Gregg Sulkin (Oscar Stein)

Sulkin is probably best known for his recurring roles on Wizards Of Waverly Place and Pretty Little Liars,as well as being featured on Faking It. Plus there have been film roles, including Don't Hang Up and Anti-Social. Oscar Stein is the proverbial high school heartthrob. He's looked upon as little more than a dumb jock, but there's much more to him than people suspect.

Allegra Acosta (Molly Hernandez)

Acosta has appeared on the TV series Just Add Magic and recurred on 100 Things To Do Before High School. Molly Hernandez, youngest member of the Runaways ensemble, remains positive no matter what, while at the same time desperately wants to fit in.

Naked Gun Reboot On It's Way

If you've seen Naked Gun - or The Naked Gun: From The Files Of Police Squad ! to give its full title - you'll know that it's a comedic masterpiece that springboards off astonishing levels of silliness and random spoofery. Leslie Nielsen's Frank Drebin is a loveable buffoon for the ages, even when he's discussing his dicky prostrate. Do not, however, expect the Ed Helms -starring reboot to adopt exactly the same tack. According to Naked Gun director/co-writer David Zucker, talking up Airplane!'s screening at Nashville's Wild West Comedy Festival, the new version will not attempt to hit the same spoofy sweet spot as the Zuckers and Jim Abrahams' 1988 comedy. "It won’t be like the Naked Gun that I did," Zucker revealed. "It may be good, but it won’t be that kind of movie. They’re going to use the title. They asked me if I wanted to produce. They’re nice people, but they don’t want to do that style of spoof that I do." One departure...
