BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

#InsidetheBucket Podcast #101

This week's episode of Inside the Bucket is online! Revel in the digital mastery!

As the stink of the worst Summer movie season comes to a close, Inside the Bucket is ready to pull up that ugly-ass carpet and prepare for a (hopefully) better Fall season! Matt and Brandon are joined by Sandwich John (and at least one Mini-Cat) by bring you up to speed on all things going on in the world of entertainment. Matt's kittens re-join the show (see them on Twitter at mfc90125), as the trio (of humans) deliver the freshest, ballsiest news from the week that was (mostly) covered on our website SANDWICHJOHNFILMS.COM. Already dripping with SJF ballsy grease, the boys endeavor to discuss several items of supposed importance.

The boys discuss three news items: casting updates for the Murder on the Orient Express remake, Ben Affleck's "Bat-Tactical" suit for Justice League, and news about a third trailer for Doctor Strange.

But soon, the rails come off this train, as the trio fall down several unrelated rabbit holes, bitching and complaining as move into this week's box office report and the most relevant Blu-ray releases, including a nice release for X-men: Apocalypse. They also don't realize that John's mic is off, that is until Matt 'corrects' the error. Douche!

The boys haven't been together like this since before Summer, so be prepared for a lot of catching up. First up is a Summer Movie Review, where everyone gives their top films of the Summer, Most Disappointing, Biggest Surprise, and Worst Films (of which there were many). They move into Rants and Raves, where John decides to veer off from national entertainment news to focus on some goings on in Northern California. See the show notes below for a listing of the things that have their panties in a bind this week.

The show ends with a review of Deepwater Horizon.

We encourage you to participate in mailbag, as well as our Open Forum Friday, which is your chance to get in our business about running a passion project like our trainwreck. Please email us at Comments@SandwichJohnFilms.com with any thoughts you have about our show.

Be warned: Inside the Bucket is an EXPLICIT PODCAST. We tend to say controversial things and cuss just for the heck of it. So, please be careful if you are listening to us while at work.

We hope you laugh as much as we do bringing the show to you. As always, thanks to everyone for your continued support, and we'll see you at one of our screenings.

Naked Gun Reboot On It's Way

If you've seen Naked Gun - or The Naked Gun: From The Files Of Police Squad ! to give its full title - you'll know that it's a comedic masterpiece that springboards off astonishing levels of silliness and random spoofery. Leslie Nielsen's Frank Drebin is a loveable buffoon for the ages, even when he's discussing his dicky prostrate. Do not, however, expect the Ed Helms -starring reboot to adopt exactly the same tack. According to Naked Gun director/co-writer David Zucker, talking up Airplane!'s screening at Nashville's Wild West Comedy Festival, the new version will not attempt to hit the same spoofy sweet spot as the Zuckers and Jim Abrahams' 1988 comedy. "It won’t be like the Naked Gun that I did," Zucker revealed. "It may be good, but it won’t be that kind of movie. They’re going to use the title. They asked me if I wanted to produce. They’re nice people, but they don’t want to do that style of spoof that I do." One departure
