First Look At Grown Up Potter & Weasley Family

Serving as an official eighth part of the Potter story, theatrical production Harry Potter And The Cursed Child is preparing to hit the West End next month. And now J.K. Rowling's Pottermore site has premiered a look at both the Potter and Weasley families as they will look in the play. Harry, Ginny and Albus are pictured above, and you can find Ron, Hermione and daughter Rose further down the page.

The Cursed Child is set 19 years after the events of The Deathly Hallows, with the Potters and the Granger-Weasley clans seemingly happily settling into family life. But young Albus Severus Potter (Sam Clemmett), headed to Hogwarts, is troubled by his weighty legacy, and has to deal with the ramifications of who his parents are.

Jamie Parker plays Harry, with Poppy Miller as Ginny. As for Ron (Paul Thornley), he's married to Hermione (Noma Dumezweni) and their daughter is played by Cherrelle Skeete. With a story by Rowling, script from Jack Thorne and John Tiffany as the show's director, previews start at the Palace Theatre on June 7, with the official opening set for July 30.

If you've seen Naked Gun - or The Naked Gun: From The Files Of Police Squad ! to give its full title - you'll know that it's a comedic masterpiece that springboards off astonishing levels of silliness and random spoofery. Leslie Nielsen's Frank Drebin is a loveable buffoon for the ages, even when he's discussing his dicky prostrate. Do not, however, expect the Ed Helms -starring reboot to adopt exactly the same tack.
