Having surpassed the $600M mark on April 29, The Jungle Book added more than $100M to its global total last weekend thanks to outstanding holds in the U.S. and internationally. It debuted April 15 with $103.3M, holding in its second weekend with $61.5M.

In China, the film has brought in $138.8M to become Disney’s third biggest release in the country, while in India, it is already the highest-grossing Hollywood release of all time with $34.4M. Other top markets include the U.K. ($48M), Mexico ($19.9M) and France ($19.4M). The film opens in Korea on June 9 and in Japan on August 11.

Directed by Jon Favreau and featuring newcomer Neel Sethi as Mowgli surrounded by an all-star voice cast including Bill Murray, Ben Kingsley, Idris Elba, Lupita Nyong’o, Scarlett Johansson, and Christopher Walken, The Jungle Book enjoys a stellar 94% Certified Fresh rating on RottenTomatoes and an A CinemaScore.
