BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

#InsidetheBucket Podcast #94

This week's episode of Inside the Bucket is online! Revel in the digital mastery!
With the Summer movie season in full bloom and many television shows ready to show off their finales, Inside the Bucket brings you up to speed on all things going on in the world of entertainment. Join Matt and Brandon as they deliver the freshest, ballsiest news from the week that was (mostly) covered on our website SANDWICHJOHNFILMS.COM. Already dripping with SJF ballsy grease, the boys endeavor to discuss several items of supposed importance.

In their jam-packed news section, where they reflect on why the "big" DC shakeup isn't really that big, celebrate at the most recent Black Panther casting, and discuss why an important mob man is NOT in Scorsese's The Irishmen. They also grade the second Star Trek Beyond trailer and discuss the casting news from Thor Ragnarok and Spider-man Homecoming.

Then it's on to this week's box office report, as Matt laments about a bunch of animated birds beating Captain America: Civil War and the low numbers for The Nice Guys. The boys also discuss movies and television shows hitting Blu-ray this week, and both (again) are not very good.

After trying a new beer from Brandon, it's on to Rants and Raves, where the boys bitch and gripe about all the things they've been watching a reading about this week. See our show notes to see what's bothering Brandon and Matt this week.

The show ends with two reviews: Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising and The Nice Guys.

We encourage you to participate in mailbag, as well as our Open Forum Friday, which is your chance to get in our business about running a passion project like our trainwreck. Please email us at Comments@SandwichJohnFilms.com with any thoughts you have about our show.

Be warned: Inside the Bucket is an EXPLICIT PODCAST. We tend to say controversial things and cuss just for the heck of it. So, please be careful if you are listening to us while at work.

We hope you laugh as much as we do bringing the show to you. As always, thanks to everyone for your continued support, and we'll see you at one of our screenings.

Naked Gun Reboot On It's Way

If you've seen Naked Gun - or The Naked Gun: From The Files Of Police Squad ! to give its full title - you'll know that it's a comedic masterpiece that springboards off astonishing levels of silliness and random spoofery. Leslie Nielsen's Frank Drebin is a loveable buffoon for the ages, even when he's discussing his dicky prostrate. Do not, however, expect the Ed Helms -starring reboot to adopt exactly the same tack. According to Naked Gun director/co-writer David Zucker, talking up Airplane!'s screening at Nashville's Wild West Comedy Festival, the new version will not attempt to hit the same spoofy sweet spot as the Zuckers and Jim Abrahams' 1988 comedy. "It won’t be like the Naked Gun that I did," Zucker revealed. "It may be good, but it won’t be that kind of movie. They’re going to use the title. They asked me if I wanted to produce. They’re nice people, but they don’t want to do that style of spoof that I do." One departure...
