Pilgrims, old-­timey sailors, Revolutionary War spirits, and even a couple of zoot­-suited gangsters are ready to take on four formidable female busters looking to rid the city of its phantasmic filth”



Paul Feig and his “The Heat” scribe, Katie Dippold are co-writing this all-female new GHOSTBUSTERS movie.

The story will once again be set in New York City. Feig previously stated that he wants this reboot to be a lot scarier but it will still be PG-13.

Starring Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Leslie Jones and Kate McKinnon as the new team. And their receptionist will be played by none other than Chris Hemsworth.

Kristen Wiig plays Erin Gilbert

Leslie Jones plays Patty Tolan

Melissa McCarthy plays Abby Yates

Kate McKinnon plays Jillian Holtzmann.

Andy Garcia plays New York City mayor.

Michael Kenneth Williams plays a character named Hawkins.

Matt Walsh plays a character named Rourke.

Co-starring Cecily Strong in a not-yet disclosed role.

Another name joining in is anchor Pat Kiernan who’ll also get to play a news anchor
Neil Casey plays the villain.

With cameo appearances by Bill Murray, Ernie Hudson, Annie Potts, Sigourney Weaver, and Dan Aykroyd
