Michelle Monaghan Joins Mark Wahlberg In PATRIOTS DAY

Michelle Monaghan is on board for PATRIOTS DAY starring Oscar nominee, Mark Wahlberg, John Goodman, and J.K. Simmons, to be directed by Peter Berg.

PATRIOTS DAY, scripted by Matt Charman, the story is about the manhunt on the Boston marathon bombers.

This project is produced by Scott Stuber, Wahlberg, Dylan Clark, Stephen Levinson and Michael Radutzky will produce.
CBS Films secured Davis’ life rights and the film will chronicle the events of the April 15, 2013 attack based on the story that Davis shared on “60 Minutes”

J.K. Simmons plays Sergeant Jeffrey Pugliese of the Watertown Police Department.
John Goodman plays former Boston police commissioner Ed Davis

Its rival project about Boston marathon bombing is Lionsgate “Stronger” with director David Gordon Green and stars Jake Gyllenhaal and Tatiana Maslany
