BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

#InsidetheBucket Podcast #89

This week's episode of Inside the Bucket is online! Revel in the digital mastery!

On this better-late-than-never edition of Inside the Bucket, Matt and Rama from RamaScreen.com gather late in the week to give you all this week's movie and television news and reviews from our website SANDWICHJOHNFILMS.COM. Already dripping with SJF ballsy grease, the boys endeavor to discuss several items of supposed importance.

This week, they turn their attention to news from DC, Star Wars, and of course Marvel, as they discuss JK Simmons becoming Commissioner Gordon and Chewbacca joining Han Solo in his upcoming origin story. The two give their reaction to the newest Civil War trailer, discussing the possible future of several characters along the way. Then it's on to this week's box office report, as Zootopia enjoys a second week at #1, while 10 Cloverfield Lane turns in very nice numbers. The boys also discuss movies and television shows hitting Blu-ray this week.

After the requisite pee and headphone break (because our ears get sweaty), it's on to Rants and Raves, where the boys bitch and gripe about all the things they've been watching a reading about this week. See our show notes to see what's bothering Rama and Matt this week.

The show ends with a review of 10 Cloverfield Lane.

We encourage you to participate in mailbag, as well as our Open Forum Friday, which is your chance to get in our business about running a passion project like our trainwreck. Please email us at Comments@SandwichJohnFilms.com with any thoughts you have about our show.

Be warned: Inside the Bucket is an EXPLICIT PODCAST. We tend to say controversial things and cuss just for the heck of it. So, please be careful if you are listening to us while at work.

We hope you laugh as much as we do bringing the show to you. As always, thanks to everyone for your continued support, and we'll see you at one of our screenings.

Naked Gun Reboot On It's Way

If you've seen Naked Gun - or The Naked Gun: From The Files Of Police Squad ! to give its full title - you'll know that it's a comedic masterpiece that springboards off astonishing levels of silliness and random spoofery. Leslie Nielsen's Frank Drebin is a loveable buffoon for the ages, even when he's discussing his dicky prostrate. Do not, however, expect the Ed Helms -starring reboot to adopt exactly the same tack. According to Naked Gun director/co-writer David Zucker, talking up Airplane!'s screening at Nashville's Wild West Comedy Festival, the new version will not attempt to hit the same spoofy sweet spot as the Zuckers and Jim Abrahams' 1988 comedy. "It won’t be like the Naked Gun that I did," Zucker revealed. "It may be good, but it won’t be that kind of movie. They’re going to use the title. They asked me if I wanted to produce. They’re nice people, but they don’t want to do that style of spoof that I do." One departure...
