Variety is reporting Jennifer Garner is starring opposite Bryan Cranston as his wife in the drama “ Wakefield ” with Robin Swicord directing from her own script. Production has started in Los Angeles. Bonnie Curtis and Julie Lynn are producing through their Mockingbird Pictures banner with Broadway producers Wendy Federman and Carl Moellenberg. The film is based on a short story of the same name by E.L. Doctorow — which is a retelling of a story by Nathaniel Hawthorne, also called “Wakefield” — about a man who unexpectedly leaves his wife for an extended period of time. Talking recently about Star Wars and his career in general, Harrison Ford has said he’d be happy to work on another Indiana Jones film. And according to Steven Spielberg , no one else could or should replace Ford as the iconic adventurer. It’s the first move on the Marvel Studios project since early October, when Taika Waititi , who co-wrote and co-directed the vampire spoof What We Do In the Shadows, came on board to helm the project, the third installment of Marvel’s Thor movies. The hilarious Amy Schumer/Judd Apatow comedy looks and sound great, but needs an edit. Review by Matt Cummings If there's one thing that can be said about the Amy Schumer/Judd Apatow comedy Trainwreck , it's that it lovingly shows how hot-mess relationships can come clean and eventually endure.
