Michael Bay has released a photo giving us our first look at   Stephen Amel l as vigilante Casey Jones in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 . The mask he's wearing seems to have all the elements of what we've seen in the comics. Turtles 2 stars Megan Fox, Brian Tee, Alessandra Ambrosio, William Fichtner, Will Arnett , and Tyler Perry . According to Deadline, Universal’s Furious 7 , director James Wan is in early discussions with Sony Pictures to direct Robotech , the feature adaptation of the 1980s sci-fi anime series that is being eyed as a worldwide franchise. Wan is one of the hottest directors in town after Furious 7‘s success — it has grossed $1.3 billion so far in worldwide box office — and has a lot of offers on the table. But I’m hearing he and Sony are going to try and make this work though the deal talks are in the beginning stages. Word is Wan is all for the opportunity to originate a franchise like he did with Warner Bros/New Line’s The Conjuring, which now has a second pic that he plans to direct coming out in 2016. The monthly geek subscription box service is among dozens of entries vying for your hard-earned dollars, with Loot promising a nice return on your $20 monthly subscription. Its hand-picked, cool geeky collection wrapped around a theme faces a lot of competition, but let's see why April's unquestionably slayed its dragon. First there was the all-female Ghostbusters reboot, which will open next summer, and now word has come down that the studio will also craft a girl-centric installment of its popular 21 Jump Street series. Lucia Aniello and Paul W. Downs, the writers of Comedy Central’s Broad City , have been hired to write a script, said to be in the same vein as the two existing Jump Street films. This project will be produced in addition to another original-recipe Jump Street sequel with Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill returning. That film is still a question mark, as the end-credits sequence of 22 Jump Street seemed to take a flamethrower to the very idea of doing yet another sequel.
