The details behind the release have been revealed!
Story by Matt Cummings
We've been releasing news all morning about Star Wars: The Force Awakens, from a breakdown of the new poster to the marathon event to be held prior to Episode VII's opening.
Perhaps the biggest news - the impending release of another trailer and the date when tickets would be released - has been discussed for awhile. According to a press release from StarWars.com, the trailer will be shown during the Monday Night Football game on October 19th. It's supposed to be a full trailer, and not a quick 'look' into the universe as suggested by the press release. That will most likely be made available on YouTube as soon as it's released.
The other big news - the pre-ticketing process - has also been clarified. Tickets for most theater chains go on sale on Monday, October 19th beginning at 7PM PST/10PM EST. It's unclear whether standalone IMAX theaters will be offering it at the same time. What we do know is that Monday will be another very big day in the universe of Star Wars.
