BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

Inside the Bucket Podcast #74

This week's episode of Inside the Bucket is online! Revel in the digital mastery!
After a short vacation, Inside the Bucket returns with apocalyptic violence, as Matt and Brandon break down the best movie and television news from our website SANDWICHJOHNFILMS.COM with all the style of a bull and full of greasy attitude.

The show begins with our news segment, as the boys discuss several stories from the past week, including news about Hannibal star Mads Mikkelsen possibly appearing in Doctor Strange, an Amy Schumer/Jennifer Lawrence comedy, and Star Wars: The Force Awakens dominating IMAX for 4 weeks in December. After discussing a very low box office weekend, they get excited (at least Matt does) about this week's Blu-rays releasing this week.

After a quick talk about a local ice cream shop, they return to their Rants and Raves, as they bitch and complain about all the things they're watching, following, and are generally pissed off about from the past week. John tells us why he's excited about the return of Heroes, Brandon gives his thoughts about the final Hannibal episode, and Matt reviews both August's Loot Crate and Marvel Collector Corps subscription boxes.

The show veers off the normal road for a bit, as the boys offer up their scorecards for the Summer movie season. The full story is on our website.

The show ends with a review of No Escape as John and Matt gush about its awesomeness.

We've also included links to our Fall Television Preview articles which we discussed last week. Please check them out below.

We encourage you to participate in mailbag, as well as our Open Forum Friday, which is your chance to get in our business about running a passion project like our trainwreck. Please email us at Comments@SandwichJohnFilms.com with any thoughts you have about our show.

Be warned: Inside the Bucket is an EXPLICIT PODCAST. We tend to say controversial things and cuss just for the heck of it. So, please be careful if you are listening to us while at work.

We hope you laugh as much as we do bringing the show to you. As always, thanks to everyone for your continued support, and we'll see you at one of our screenings.

Naked Gun Reboot On It's Way

If you've seen Naked Gun - or The Naked Gun: From The Files Of Police Squad ! to give its full title - you'll know that it's a comedic masterpiece that springboards off astonishing levels of silliness and random spoofery. Leslie Nielsen's Frank Drebin is a loveable buffoon for the ages, even when he's discussing his dicky prostrate. Do not, however, expect the Ed Helms -starring reboot to adopt exactly the same tack. According to Naked Gun director/co-writer David Zucker, talking up Airplane!'s screening at Nashville's Wild West Comedy Festival, the new version will not attempt to hit the same spoofy sweet spot as the Zuckers and Jim Abrahams' 1988 comedy. "It won’t be like the Naked Gun that I did," Zucker revealed. "It may be good, but it won’t be that kind of movie. They’re going to use the title. They asked me if I wanted to produce. They’re nice people, but they don’t want to do that style of spoof that I do." One departure...
