BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

#InsidetheBucket Podcast #68

This week's episode of Inside the Bucket is online! Revel in the digital mastery!

On this DOUCHECON edition of Inside the Bucket, Matt sits down with SandwichJohn himself for an early weekend edition. As always, the two imbibe and consider John's effect on the smell of his microphone while delivering the best movie and television news from our website SANDWICHJOHNFILMS.COM with all the style of a bull and full of greasy attitude.

The show kicks off with our news segment, as Matt and John pontificate on two breaking news stories (the death of Omar Sharif and Director Colin Trevorrow being pursued for Star Wars: Episode VII) before moving into other news that happened during the week, including Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice's Ben Affleck writing/directing/starring in a standalone Batman film, Darth Vader appearing in Star Wars Anthology: Rogue One, and Marisa Tomei signing on to play Aunt May Parker in the Sony/Marvel Spider-man. They also discuss the weekend box office, and STILL wonder why people are seeing Jurassic World before giving the weekend to Minions.

After John watches Matt pee, two duo head into their Rants and Raves, where they bitch and complain about all the things they're watching, following, and are generally pissed off about from the past week. The show ends with a review of Minions, but not before Matt announces this week's giveaways.

We've also included links to our Fall Television Preview articles which we discussed last week. Please check them out below.

We encourage you to participate in mailbag, as well as our Open Forum Friday, which is your chance to get in our business about running a passion project like our trainwreck. Please email us at Comments@SandwichJohnFilms.com with any thoughts you have about our show.

Be warned: Inside the Bucket is an EXPLICIT PODCAST. We tend to say controversial things and cuss just for the heck of it. So, please be careful if you are listening to us while at work.

We hope you laugh as much as we do bringing the show to you. As always, thanks to everyone for your continued support, and we'll see you at one of our screenings.

Naked Gun Reboot On It's Way

If you've seen Naked Gun - or The Naked Gun: From The Files Of Police Squad ! to give its full title - you'll know that it's a comedic masterpiece that springboards off astonishing levels of silliness and random spoofery. Leslie Nielsen's Frank Drebin is a loveable buffoon for the ages, even when he's discussing his dicky prostrate. Do not, however, expect the Ed Helms -starring reboot to adopt exactly the same tack. According to Naked Gun director/co-writer David Zucker, talking up Airplane!'s screening at Nashville's Wild West Comedy Festival, the new version will not attempt to hit the same spoofy sweet spot as the Zuckers and Jim Abrahams' 1988 comedy. "It won’t be like the Naked Gun that I did," Zucker revealed. "It may be good, but it won’t be that kind of movie. They’re going to use the title. They asked me if I wanted to produce. They’re nice people, but they don’t want to do that style of spoof that I do." One departure...
