Here is the extended TRAILER for CBS’ live action SUPERGIRL series about Superman’s cousin, Kara Zor-El (Melissa Benoist) Premiering this fall on CBS.
Calista Flockhart plays Cat Grant who has built a global company and Kara (Melissa Benoist) works as Grant’s assistant.
Mehcad Brooks plays James Olsen.
Laura Benanti plays recurring role as Alura Zor-El, the birth mother of Kara. Alura sends Kara to earth before Krypton’s destruction and her wisdom still guides Kara as she becomes Supergirl.
David Harewood will play Hank Henshaw who in the comics becomes Cyborg Superman, but in this series, Harewood’s Henshaw is a CIA agent who now runs the department of extra-normal operations (DEO) that tracks any potential extraterrestrial threats
Malina Weissman will play lil’ Supergirl/young Kara Zor-El who, after escaping Krypton’s destruction, is taken in by a foster family, the Danvers.
Chyler Leigh will play Alexandra Danvers, Kara’s foster sister who’s fascinated with Kara’s superpowers, which ultimately inspires Alex to love science.
Jeremy Jordan will have recurring role as tech genius Winslow “Winn” Schott who will work alongside Kara (Melissa Benoist) at CatCo.
Also starring Dean Cain and Helen Slater.
Scripted by Ali Adler and Greg Berlanti who’ll exec-produce this pilot with WB TV and Sarah Schechter.
“Arrow” and “The Flash” exec-producer Andrew Kreisberg will also exec-produce SUPERGIRL.
