The invisible jet needs a new pilot.

Michelle MacLaren, the prolific TV veteran, has exited the director’s chair of Warner Bros’ upcoming Wonder Woman film. MacLaren, who has cut her teeth on such shows as Breaking Bad, The Leftovers and Better Call Saul, has cited “creative differences” as the reason for the split in a statement.
The Wonder Woman film, starring Gal Gadot, is set for release on June 23, 2017, and the character will make her debut in next year’s Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice. While unexpected director turnovers happen from time to time (even to the almighty Marvel), such an early instance of behind-the-scenes tumultuousness isn’t exactly an encouraging sign for the burgeoning DC Cinematic Universe.
