Dwayne Johnson anchors this one as Ray, a talented rescue pilot who has just packed daughter Blake (Alexandra Daddario) off to San Francisco when The Big One, the mother (nature) of all earthquakes hits California and, if Paul Giamatti’s expert is to be believed, will be felt all across the US of A.



With the ground heaving apart, buildings shaking and the Golden Gate bridge probably rolling its eyes and tutting, “not this shit again”, Ray must team up with his ex-wife Emma (Johnson’s Race To Witch Mountain co-star Carla Gugino) and try to find a way to track down their daughter. But the situation may be even worse
