Mockingjay notes:

1) the movie was very gray and dull. It seemed like a low budget film.

2) The movie went 5 min too long. Nothing was gained but all dramatic affair was lost by going past the strangle scene.

3) Harry Potter and Twilight worked as two parts because the books are much thicker. This movies plot line was along the lines of "Katniss deals with posttraumatic syndrome." Nothing exciting.

Actually paid to see Interstellar at EDH IMAX the other night - holy crap that was loud. Was rattling the ceiling plates and made our seats shake to the point that we thought we were in Dbox. Do they even make those anymore? Also, this week's Flash was so good. That series continues to get better and better. Gotham, are you listening?

Leslie Nielsen's Frank Drebin is a loveable buffoon for the ages, even when he's discussing his dicky prostrate. Do not, however, expect the Ed Helms -starring reboot to adopt exactly the same tack. According to Naked Gun director/co-writer David Zucker, talking up Airplane!'s screening at Nashville's Wild West Comedy Festival, the new version will not attempt to hit the same spoofy sweet spot as the Zuckers and Jim Abrahams' 1988 comedy. "It won’t be like the Naked Gun that I did," Zucker revealed. "It may be good, but it won’t be that kind of movie. They’re going to use the title. They asked me if I wanted to produce. They’re nice people, but they don’t want to do that style of spoof that I do." One departure...
