BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

Open Forum Friday: October 17, 2014

Here's your chance to connect with the SJF community.
While you're welcome to comment on any movie or television thoughts you might have, here's a brief rundown of the movies released this week and Blu-rays to be released next Tuesday:

Movies
- Fury
- Men, Women, and Children
- The Book of Life

Blu-rays
- Sex Tape
- Snowpiercer

Also, don't forget to listen to our weekly podcast, where we break down the major news of the week and do our giveaways.

No matter what you choose to talk about, a few ground rules: keep it nice, no ads, and no flaming.

Other than that, sound off on any movie or television thoughts you have.

Feel free to comment on any of the following:

1. What are you watching on television?
2. What's the last film you saw?
3. What would you like to see us discuss on the podcast?

These are just some of the questions, but again pick something movie or TV related.

Happy posting!

I'm glad I sign up for SJF, love it. One comment I have is it feels too much text in the emails and on site at first look. May be different color grading or themes or some kind of groupings help readers not overwhelm with too much text at first look?! I'm used to it now and I love it. Thank you for screening offers, reviews and movie news.

Everyone likes it, but I want to win a prize pack, so my suggestion is to offer a button to access a transcript of your podcast. My life is so scrambled that it is rare for me to be able to listen to the whole thing without interruptions and I haven't the ability to rewind just a paragraph or two, it must always restart the whole thing. If I am reading it and get called away I could just pickup where I left off,or just go back ONLY enough to get back on subject. I have missed opportunities to obtain pass's and just wait to listen later when and if I have time sometimes 2-3 weeks later. And must depend on friends to tell me which ones to play and which to pass on, I might be missing out. I think others might agree. Thanks for your time.

One thing I notice is podcast doesn't open on desktop/laptops (most of the times) only on mobile.

I think something you can do to improve the website is to change the layout of it. But overall, I like the site for reviews and screenings that you guys offer. Thanks guys! :)

I would like more contests to improve the site please.

I'd say change the layout but other than that, the website is great!

I really like the site the way it is! If anything, maybe change the font in the menu's section.

I think the content should be more left oriented and the extra info (ex. trailers should be on the right side). I'm a developer.

Sex Tape Review: Overly Sexual, Rude, Vulgar, and Absolutely Hilarious

The raunchy Sex Tape will divide audiences and critics, but who cares? Sex Tape suggests a growing practice among loving partners: that of making a raunchy testament of their escapades for posterity. But what happens when that evidence gets seen by friends, neighbors, and even the mailman? This is the plot that pits Jay (Jason Segel) and Annie (Cameron Diaz) in an effort to secure every iPad gift Jay has given, his record company playlists being the envy of the recipients, but which has also inadvertently spread the video to every device. The reason for the act - termed in the movie as pulling "the full Lincoln " for its three-hour length - stems from the couple's non-existent social life, brought on by the constant demands of their children. The couple has a lot to lose: a burgeoning business relationship between Annie and Hank (Rob Lowe) could end if the iPad she's given to Hank exposes the video, and so the couple sets out to reclaim and wipe the incrim...
