BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

#KingConan With Schwarzenegger To Shoot In Spring 2015

Question: What is best in life? If you answered: To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of their women, then you are probably one of the rabid fans of Conan the Barbarian. And, not just Conan, but Arnold Schwarzenegger as Conan the Barbarian.

Our buddies over at the TheArnoldFans.com sat down with Fredrick Malmberg the producer behind the abomination that was 2011′s Conan the Barbarian starring Jason Momoa. The producer had some very interesting and exciting news about The Legend Of  Conan, a movie project that many thought had been shelved.

“We want to polish up the script, specifically about the characters, but we don’t think it will take long. We’ll probably have this turned in around September after the holiday and then we’ll take it to the studio and if they’re happy, we can hopefully start (production) in the Spring (2015).”

Which means that we could see Arnold as the old, grizzled King Conan as soon as 2016. Malmberg was also asked about directors for the movie, and he has this to say:

“We haven’t been talking with directors yet. A lot of directors have come forth and expressed interest, and that they like Conan and want to be involved when we’re at that stage. But the studio said they want the script to be ready before we officially approach the directors. But we have been in touch with old great names and new fresh faces. We’re excited about finding the right guy for that.”

I do wonder what “Old great names” means. In 1982, the only Conan the Barbarian movie that I recognize, was directed by John Milius. Now, Milius has been battling some serious health issues, but recently, the director has reportedly beaten those pesky health problems and is said to be in discussions with Mel Gibson on a Genghis Khan movie.

If John Milius were to be brought on to direct The Legend of Conan, then there is no doubt that the movie would be done right. What I mean by that is, Milius has famously stated that he despises the use of CGI, which means we would get a gritty Conan, in all his gnarled and angry old man glory…which is how it should be.

Sex Tape Review: Overly Sexual, Rude, Vulgar, and Absolutely Hilarious

The raunchy Sex Tape will divide audiences and critics, but who cares? Sex Tape suggests a growing practice among loving partners: that of making a raunchy testament of their escapades for posterity. But what happens when that evidence gets seen by friends, neighbors, and even the mailman? This is the plot that pits Jay (Jason Segel) and Annie (Cameron Diaz) in an effort to secure every iPad gift Jay has given, his record company playlists being the envy of the recipients, but which has also inadvertently spread the video to every device. The reason for the act - termed in the movie as pulling "the full Lincoln " for its three-hour length - stems from the couple's non-existent social life, brought on by the constant demands of their children. The couple has a lot to lose: a burgeoning business relationship between Annie and Hank (Rob Lowe) could end if the iPad she's given to Hank exposes the video, and so the couple sets out to reclaim and wipe the incrim...
