BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

Actor Who Plays #Apocalypse In X-Men: Days Of Future Past

As fans exited “Days of Future Past” positing that he might be the man in the grey face makeup spotted in Ancient Egypt.

That man, of course, is the villain known as Apocalypse, and the eventual antagonist of 2016′s “X-Men: Apocalypse.”

End Credit Explained For X-Men: Days of Future Past-

But, as confirmed to MTV News by a source at FOX, Apocalypse was played by Brendan Pedder.

Brendan Pedder is an 18-year-old actor from Montreal with — as far as a cursory internet search shows — no real credits to his name. However, it seems he was in the right place at the right time: “Days of Future Past” filmed from April to August of 2013 in Montreal, which clearly didn’t hurt the native Canadian’s casting.

As to whether Pedder will continue the role two years from now, we’ll just have to wait and see.
