BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

Under The Skin Trailer Starring Scarlett Johansson

We now have the trailer to accompany the poster for Jonathan Glazer’s next feature, Under The Skin, which has been getting a lot of buzz of late because of its mysterious teaser trailers (see the bottom of the page) and out-there story. This is a film that sees Scarlett Johansson as an extra-terrestrial, after all. And to see her in an altogether different form, check out this stunning new poster and trailer.

Based on Michel Faber’s novel of the same name, as you can see this is a visual tour de force that won’t be some tastes but will knock the cotton socks off everyone else. As our man in Venice put it, “It’s a visually breathtaking piece of punk-art cinema that gives a lot of food for thought.”
Written by Glazer and Walter Campbell, and scored by Mica Levi of Micachu & The Shapes fame, Under The Skin follows Scarlett Johansson’s unnamed alien. She’s been sent to Earth by an alien corporation to prey on unwary hitchhikers. As the official synopsis puts it: “Part road movie, part science-fiction, part real, it’s a film about seeing our world through alien eyes.”

If you've seen Naked Gun - or The Naked Gun: From The Files Of Police Squad ! to give its full title - you'll know that it's a comedic masterpiece that springboards off astonishing levels of silliness and random spoofery. Leslie Nielsen's Frank Drebin is a loveable buffoon for the ages, even when he's discussing his dicky prostrate. Do not, however, expect the Ed Helms -starring reboot to adopt exactly the same tack. According to Naked Gun director/co-writer David Zucker, talking up Airplane!'s screening at Nashville's Wild West Comedy Festival, the new version will not attempt to hit the same spoofy sweet spot as the Zuckers and Jim Abrahams' 1988 comedy. "It won’t be like the Naked Gun that I did," Zucker revealed. "It may be good, but it won’t be that kind of movie. They’re going to use the title. They asked me if I wanted to produce. They’re nice people, but they don’t want to do that style of spoof that I do." One departure...
