PARANORMAL ACTIVITY: THE MARKED ONES TRAILER NOW AVAILABLE. The film is set to be released on January 3, 2014.

Series creator Oren Peli confirmed that a Latino version of Paranormal Activity titled The Oxnard Tapes was being produced, which would include Catholic themes and a Latino cast. The upcoming film has been referred to as a "cousin" to the series, and not an official spin-off or sequel, and it will feature the demon from the Paranormal Activity series. Peli also confirmed that although mainly being created for the Latino market, the film will not be in Spanish. Many scenes from Paranormal Activity 4 hinted at the film's storyline
