Since the last time we spoke looks like you have been a busy man?

Yes, its been a little while, but I have been busy with all kinds of different projects from the acting side to the producing side! Glad to be back interacting with you and thanks for your continued support!

I see you have a film coming out on Today, April 9th titled "Ring the Bell." Can you tell us about the film?

Right again...Ring the Bell just came out on DVD today, and I am one of the leads in the film. It's really a family film that is about a top notch sports agent who travels to a small town in order to try and sign the top baseball prospect out of High School. What he finds in the town, he didn't expect at all, and I'm one of those things.

The film is really about going through our lives searching for things that you fill will give us gratification, but ultimately finding out that material things such as money, etc, aren't ever going to fulfill that aching need for something more in life we seek.

What is the role that you play in the movie?

As "Scooter" in the film, I play a former phenom player, and I still have all the talent I ever did. However, I gave up baseball a while ago to take on the mission of raising up orphaned boys on my parents old ranch along with my sister. My character is very influencial in leading this agent (Rob Decker) through a change in his life.

Since Moneyball came out how has your life changed?

Moneyball changed my life in a number of different ways. I'd like to think it really "through me into the fire" very early in my career so I knew what it was like to be on the biggest set, with the biggest actors, and act in an Academy Award Nominated film. I can't tell you how blessed I was and am to have had that experience at the beginning of my acting career. It has lead to other opportunities, such as being a lead in this Ring the Bell film, along with getting involved in producing as well. I will forever be thankful to be attached to a film like Moneyball, and connected to my character of "Chad Bradford" for the rest of my life.

I see you role in the hit series Nashville. What role are you playing?

I filmed the show Nashville about 2 months ago, and the episode has actually already aired. My character is "Gil Martin" and I am the Chief of Staff for the Mayor (played by Eric Close). Another wonderful opportunity to be on a hit show, and get some more TV time under my belt.

How is working on TV different then working on a film?

I find TV to be very different than film. It's much more "print and press" type of mentality, in which they are hammering out plenty of episodes in a short amount of time. Everyone really has to have a sense of urgency, as there is a definite timeline to making sure everything is ready to go before the next episode airs. You are dealing with a certain time window for each episode, so you can't really draw out on a character's scene sometimes as you might want to in film. I loved the experience, and absolutely want to do more TV. I do love the aspect of film though. I enjoy watching films and being a part of films more than TV if you had to make me choose. However, I really loved everyone on set and if you have a hit show, you can really develop a lot of relationships on set so long as the show goes on!

Can you tell us about any upcoming projects?

I actually just filmed a commercial in which I played the role of Tony the Tiger. Yes, that's right, I am Tony the Tiger in a commercial. It was a really cool experience, and should be a great spot! Also, I am producing a film on legendary basketball coach Don Meyer. He's won an ESPY award for perseverance, passed Bobby Knight to become the most winning NCAA Men's basketball Coach, and his story is one of much trial and torment on the way to the top. A very character driven piece which I am thankful to have the passion for. Working to get that done, along with some other films I'm producing as well!

Naked Gun Reboot On It's Way

If you've seen Naked Gun - or The Naked Gun: From The Files Of Police Squad ! to give its full title - you'll know that it's a comedic masterpiece that springboards off astonishing levels of silliness and random spoofery. Leslie Nielsen's Frank Drebin is a loveable buffoon for the ages, even when he's discussing his dicky prostrate. Do not, however, expect the Ed Helms -starring reboot to adopt exactly the same tack. According to Naked Gun director/co-writer David Zucker, talking up Airplane!'s screening at Nashville's Wild West Comedy Festival, the new version will not attempt to hit the same spoofy sweet spot as the Zuckers and Jim Abrahams' 1988 comedy. "It won’t be like the Naked Gun that I did," Zucker revealed. "It may be good, but it won’t be that kind of movie. They’re going to use the title. They asked me if I wanted to produce. They’re nice people, but they don’t want to do that style of spoof that I do." One departure...
