Syfy is developing a series version of the 2010 supernatural thriller Legion , which starred Paul Bettany . The feature’s director/co-writer Scott Stewart is set to direct and executive produce the TV adaptation, which will be written by Vaun Wilmott (Sons Of Anarchy). Sony Pictures TV, the TV sibling of Sony’s Screen Gems division that distributed the film, is producing the series project. The movie, produced by Bold Films, chronicled human race’s battle for survival against God’s legion of angels sent by him to bring on the Apocalypse. The people get an unlikely ally in Archangel Michael ( Bettany ), who disobeys God’s order and decides to help them. Bold Films’ David Lancaster and Michael Litvak, who were producers on the movie, will serve as executive producers on the potential series alongsideWilmott co-executive produces. I was hoping that this would be mindless adventurous trip but sitting through JOURNEY 2: THE MYSTERIOUS ISLAND was tough because its compiling a bunch of fantasy legends into one movie is as disastrous as League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen. I’d call this movie, JOURNEY 2: THE RINDONKULOUS ISLAND because everything about it is beyond silly to the point of unbearable. And their attempt to make you forget that Brendan Fraser was part of the previous film fails. We got some exciting news about an event that will be leading up to Comic-Con 2012 . I have been attending Comic-Con for the past 4 years and it is an event not to be missed. This is pretty creative and a worthy cause. As alot of you know I justd finished running my first 1/2 marathon this month and looks like I might need to field a team for this event. The event is called Course of the Force , which is an Olympic-style lightsaber relay held July 7-11, where you the participants will get to make a journey from Santa Monica to San Diego while benefiting a worthy cause, to benefit Make-A-Wish foundation .
