Knife Fight is about sex, drugs, money and how politics is really played - a knife fight in a telephone booth, where blood is spilled, low blows are common and the best candidate is not always the best person. Starring Rob Lowe, Carrie-Anne Moss, Julie Bowen, Saffron Burroughs, Jamie Chung, Eric McCormack and Richard Schiff. Directed by Bill Guttentag. Written by Bill Guttentag and Chris Lehane. Produced by Divisadero Pictures.

5th grade students visit the Capitol to see democracy in action. But instead of finding the people their teacher says are “the best and the brightest,” they encounter over-the-top lawmakers prone to outrageous demands and childish infighting. Embarrassed, the lawmakers try to make amends by giving the kids a once-in-a-lifetime chance to solve a serious policy debate. But in Sacramento politics, things are never quite what they seem to be.

The Crest Theater is located at 1013 K Street, Sacramento. $40 for SPC members and $50 for non-members (Maximum two tickets at member price, per member)
