Minnie Driver, Paul Adelstein and Alfred Molina are starring in Return to Zero, an indie drama written Sean Hanish, who also is making his directorial debut on the picture.
The movie, being produced by Paul Jaconi-Biery and Hanish, begins shooting in Los Angeles this week.
Inspired by true events, the drama follows a couple (Driver, Adelstein) whose love disintegrates when they discover their baby has died in the womb. When the woman discovers she is pregnant again after a “save the marriage encounter," she meets up with a doctor (Molina) who helps her navigate the terrifying pregnancy. Also cast in the movie are Kathy Baker, Andrea Anders and Sarah Jones. Driver made appearances in Showtime’s Lisa Kudrow series Web Therapy, and her recent feature credits include Hunky Dory, Conviction and Barney’s Version. Driver is repped by CAA, Untitled and Morris Yorn.
Adelstein has starred on ABC’s Private Practice since the show began in 2007 (it wraps this season).
