Paddington Bear Teaser Poster

A teaser poster Paddington Bear has turned up online, announced some time back, the film will be directed by Paul King with a script by Hamish McColl.

The classic Michael Bond series of books tells the story of a talking bear who was adopted by a London family when they find him lost at Paddington Station.

Bond published 11 "Paddington" books between 1958 and 1979. They were adapted into a popular BBC animated TV series in the 1970s.

The Warner Bros. release, set to be produced by Harry Potter producer David Heyman, will not be adapted from any specific book but will draw inspiration from the whole series.

If you've seen Naked Gun - or The Naked Gun: From The Files Of Police Squad ! to give its full title - you'll know that it's a comedic masterpiece that springboards off astonishing levels of silliness and random spoofery. Leslie Nielsen's Frank Drebin is a loveable buffoon for the ages, even when he's discussing his dicky prostrate. Do not, however, expect the Ed Helms -starring reboot to adopt exactly the same tack.
