The groundbreaking, hit anthology series FEMME FATALES returns to Cinemax this May with 12 all-new pulse-pounding episodes. Beginning Friday, May 25th at 11 PM, Femme Fatales ripped from the pages of the bestselling magazine, is the cult smash Entertainment Weekly calls “a badass-chick anthology series” and Geek Monthly hails as “50% Tarantino, 50% Sin City, 100% Cool.”

The sexy, thrilling anthology series is about powerful, sexy and dangerous women styled in the tradition of pulp stories, film noir and graphic novels. The half-hour program features stories inspired by such noir classic as Double Indemnity and Pulp Fiction and classic thriller TV series like The Twilight Zone.

In each stand-alone episode, which is part of a bigger interweaving mythology, women find extraordinary ways of coping with their problems, channeling their survival instincts and bringing out their inner guile. The series was recently honored as an Official Selection of the prestigious Sitges Film Festival in Spain which screened seven episodes from the series first season.

The season premiere, “16 Minutes of Fame,” is a sly murder mystery and satire on today’s popular reality series like “Jersey Shore” and “Big Brother.”

MARK A. ALTMAN (Co-Creator/Executive Producer) is co-creator of Femme Fatales, the hit crime anthology series, currently entering its second season on HBO/Cinemax. Altman has also been a producer on such series as USA’s smash Necessary Roughness and ABC’s detective dramedy, Castle as well as such films as Free Enterprise, starring William Shatner and the $30 million film adaptation of the bestselling video game, DOA: Dead Or Alive, which was released by The Weinstein Company’s Dimension Films as well as Lionsgate’s House of the Dead franchise.

Altman has spoken at myriad industry events and conventions, including the ShowBiz Expo in Hollywood as well as the Variety/Final Draft Screenwriters Panel at the Cannes Film Festival. He has been a frequent guest and panelist at the International ComiCon held annually in San Diego, CA and a two time juror for the ComicCon Film Festival.

STEVE KRIOZERE (Co-Creator/Executive Producer) is a television writer-producer whose credits have included the hit television shows Castle for ABC, N.C.I.S. and the Pamela Anderson juggernaut, V.I.P. His freelance writing credits include Sliders, The Sentinel, NightMan, Team Knight Rider and Viper, as well as animated shows Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi (Cartoon Network), Loonatics: Unleashed (Kids WB), MTV’s Animated Spider-Man and Edgar & Ellen (Nicktoons Network). He also developed the feature film adaptation of the novel, Howling Mad, for director Walt Becker (Wild Hogs) and Beacon Pictures.

Kriozere, with Altman, is also the author of the graphic novel, Elvis Van Helsing, about a slacker who discovers he is a descendant of Abraham Van Helsing and must fight the forces of evil with the help of a beautiful 800 year old succubus and his best friend, Randy as well as The Unknowns, a superhero comic, optioned by Brett Rattner.

Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania Trailer

In the film, which officially kicks off phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Super-Hero partners Scott Lang ( Paul Rudd ) and Hope Van Dyne ( Evangeline Lilly ) return to continue their adventures as Ant-Man and the Wasp. Naked Gun Reboot On It's Way

If you've seen Naked Gun - or The Naked Gun: From The Files Of Police Squad ! to give its full title - you'll know that it's a comedic masterpiece that springboards off astonishing levels of silliness and random spoofery. Leslie Nielsen's Frank Drebin is a loveable buffoon for the ages, even when he's discussing his dicky prostrate. Do not, however, expect the Ed Helms -starring reboot to adopt exactly the same tack. According to Naked Gun director/co-writer David Zucker, talking up Airplane!'s screening at Nashville's Wild West Comedy Festival, the new version will not attempt to hit the same spoofy sweet spot as the Zuckers and Jim Abrahams' 1988 comedy. "It won’t be like the Naked Gun that I did," Zucker revealed. "It may be good, but it won’t be that kind of movie. They’re going to use the title. They asked me if I wanted to produce. They’re nice people, but they don’t want to do that style of spoof that I do." One departure
