1978 The Avengers What It Would Look Like

As we finally gear up for the release of Marvel's The Avengers on May 4, you can't help but wonder: What if The Avengers had come out in, I don't know, 1978? Well, wonder no longer.


Taking footage from the late '70s Incredible Hulk series, along with vintage clips of everything from Captain America to Exo-Man, one YouTube maestro has cut together a trailer for The Avengers circa 1978.


The clip is pure retro awesomeness, and it has Marvel's greatest heroes facing off with none other than KISS, a vintage staple of the Marvel vault, who are being controlled by Loki.

Check out the clip below, and dream of the cheesy Avengers flick that could have been.

Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania Trailer

In the film, which officially kicks off phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Super-Hero partners Scott Lang ( Paul Rudd ) and Hope Van Dyne ( Evangeline Lilly ) return to continue their adventures as Ant-Man and the Wasp. Together, with Hope’s parents Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) and Janet Van Dyne ( Michelle Pfeiffer ), the family finds themselves exploring the Quantum Realm, interacting with strange new creatures and embarking on an adventure that will push them beyond the limits of what they thought was possible.
