BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

Lily Collins Joins Writes Along With Kristen Bell

Lily Collins is clearly not looking to hang around the house or take up pottery now that she’s no longer starring in the Evil Dead reboot. That’s for wimps: she’s in talks to star in Shakespearian update Rosaline and will report next week to the North Carolina set of Josh Boone’s Writers along with Logan Lerman, Kristen Bell, Nat Wolff and Liana Liberato.

Boone, who is making his directorial debut from his own script, already has Greg Kinnear and Jennifer Connelly starring as a famous novelist and the ex-wife he’s obsessed with. Collins is on to play their college-aged daughter who finds herself the subject of romantic obsession courtesy of fellow student Lerman.

A blend of comedy and drama, Writers will apparently spin several interweaving stories of the various family members and other people in their lives. And if you’ve been itching to win a movie trivia contest by knowing which film features not only Arnold Schwarzenegger’s teenage sprog Patrick but also author Stephen King in a cameo, Writers has you covered. You're welcome, pub quiz fans.

Naked Gun Reboot On It's Way

If you've seen Naked Gun - or The Naked Gun: From The Files Of Police Squad ! to give its full title - you'll know that it's a comedic masterpiece that springboards off astonishing levels of silliness and random spoofery. Leslie Nielsen's Frank Drebin is a loveable buffoon for the ages, even when he's discussing his dicky prostrate. Do not, however, expect the Ed Helms -starring reboot to adopt exactly the same tack. According to Naked Gun director/co-writer David Zucker, talking up Airplane!'s screening at Nashville's Wild West Comedy Festival, the new version will not attempt to hit the same spoofy sweet spot as the Zuckers and Jim Abrahams' 1988 comedy. "It won’t be like the Naked Gun that I did," Zucker revealed. "It may be good, but it won’t be that kind of movie. They’re going to use the title. They asked me if I wanted to produce. They’re nice people, but they don’t want to do that style of spoof that I do." One departure...
