Can Twitter Predict Oscar Winner?

The Oscars will be held this Sunday and Way To Blue has come up with this infographic to showcase which films tweeters are most willing on to win this year and which films are most talked about, as well as the potential box office effect winning will have on titles.

Notes:

· Midnight in Paris has the most vocal of its fans with 19.2% of its total tweets in the past week expressing supporting sentiment for it to win at this year’s Oscars.

· The Artist dominating share of tweets is not surprising but Hugo’s buzz position is surprisingly high considering it has the least % support of tweets willing it on to win.

In the film, which officially kicks off phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Super-Hero partners Scott Lang ( Paul Rudd ) and Hope Van Dyne ( Evangeline Lilly ) return to continue their adventures as Ant-Man and the Wasp. Together, with Hope’s parents Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) and Janet Van Dyne ( Michelle Pfeiffer ), the family finds themselves exploring the Quantum Realm, interacting with strange new creatures and embarking on an adventure that will push them beyond the limits of what they thought was possible.
