BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

First Poster For TYLER PERRY’S GOOD DEEDS

Today we got our hands on the first poster for TYLER PERRY’S GOOD DEEDS, opening in theaters everywhere February 24, 2012.

GOOD DEEDS stars Tyler Perry (Wesley Deeds), Thandie Newton (Lindsey Wakefield), Brian White (Walt Deeds), Rebecca Romijn (Heidi), Jamie Kennedy (Mark Freeze), Eddie Cibrian (John), Jordenn Thompson (Ariel), and Beverly Johnson (Brenda) with Phylicia Rashad (Wilimena) and Gabrielle Union (Natalie).

A successful, wealthy businessman, Wesley Deeds (Tyler Perry) has always done what’s expected of him, whether it’s assuming the helm of his father’s company, tolerating his brother’s misbehavior at the office or planning to marry his beautiful but restless fiancée, Natalie (Gabrielle Union).

But Wesley is jolted out of his predictable routine when he meets Lindsey (Thandie Newton), a down-on-her-luck single mother who works on the cleaning crew in his office building. When he offers to help her get back on her feet, the chance encounter with someone so far outside his usual circle ignites something in Wesley. This one good deed may finally spark his courage to exchange the life that’s expected of him for the life he’s always really wanted.

A moving, uplifting drama about coincidence, courage, and the defining choices we make on our paths to happiness, TYLER PERRY’S GOOD DEEDS is written, produced and directed by Tyler Perry, and stars Perry, Thandie Newton, Brian White, Rebecca Romijn, Jamie Kennedy, Eddie Cibrian, Jordenn Thompson, Beverly Johnson, with Phylicia Rashad, and Gabrielle Union.

Naked Gun Reboot On It's Way

If you've seen Naked Gun - or The Naked Gun: From The Files Of Police Squad ! to give its full title - you'll know that it's a comedic masterpiece that springboards off astonishing levels of silliness and random spoofery. Leslie Nielsen's Frank Drebin is a loveable buffoon for the ages, even when he's discussing his dicky prostrate. Do not, however, expect the Ed Helms -starring reboot to adopt exactly the same tack. According to Naked Gun director/co-writer David Zucker, talking up Airplane!'s screening at Nashville's Wild West Comedy Festival, the new version will not attempt to hit the same spoofy sweet spot as the Zuckers and Jim Abrahams' 1988 comedy. "It won’t be like the Naked Gun that I did," Zucker revealed. "It may be good, but it won’t be that kind of movie. They’re going to use the title. They asked me if I wanted to produce. They’re nice people, but they don’t want to do that style of spoof that I do." One departure...

Boba Fett To Return To The Mandalorian Season 2

According to The Hollywood Reporter , Boba Fett will have a small part to play in The Mandalorian Season 2 , and it will be Morrison under the helmet – fitting, seeing as Boba was a younger clone of Jango. That in itself throws forth plenty of questions – with Boba Fett falling head-first into the Sarlacc Pit in Return Of The Jedi, several years before The Mandalorian takes place, will he be revealed to have secretly survived that fate? Could his appearance be part of a flashback? Or could it actually be yet another clone? Jango’s DNA formed the basis for an entire clone army back in the Prequel era, so there’s likely to be plenty of remnants of his genetic code lying around the galaxy far, far away. We’ll find out exactly how Boba Fett (if that is indeed who Morrison will play) becomes part of The Mandalorian story when the second season arrives on Disney+. It’s currently scheduled to launch this October – and while the season had reportedly wrapped production, it remains to be se...
