BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

Kiefer Sutherland's "Touch" Television Show Preview From The Creator Of Heroes

A sneak peek at Kiefer Sutherland's upcoming midseason drama, Touch, has surfaced.

The Fox series, from Heroes creator Tim Kring, revolves around a single father (Sutherland), whose mute 11-year-old son communicates through numbers.

The project was picked up late last month for 13 episodes and reunites the former 24 star with Fox. The network will launch the drama in the spring. Gugu Mbatha-Raw (Undercovers) and Danny Glover co-star.

The nearly three-minute trailer explains all viewers can be expecting from Sutherland and company. "Your son sees everything in the past, the present, the future," Glover says to Sutherland in the video. "He sees how it's all connected."

Here's Fox's official synopsis of Touch, set to premiere in Spring 2012:

At the center of Touch is Martin Bohm (Sutherland), a widower and single father, haunted by an inability to connect to his mute 11-year-old son, Jake (David Mazouz). After multiple failed attempts at keeping Jake in school, Martin is visited by Clea Hopkins (Gugu Mbatha-Raw), a social worker sent to evaluate Jake's well-being. Everything changes when Martin discovers that Jake possesses the gift of staggering genius—the ability to see things that no one else can and the patterns that connect seemingly unrelated events. Jake is indeed communicating. But it's not with words, it's with numbers. Martin meets Arthur DeWitt (Danny Glover), a professor and an expert on children who possess special gifts when it comes to numbers. Now, it's up to Martin to decipher the meaning and connect the numbers to the cast of characters whose lives they affect.

Naked Gun Reboot On It's Way

If you've seen Naked Gun - or The Naked Gun: From The Files Of Police Squad ! to give its full title - you'll know that it's a comedic masterpiece that springboards off astonishing levels of silliness and random spoofery. Leslie Nielsen's Frank Drebin is a loveable buffoon for the ages, even when he's discussing his dicky prostrate. Do not, however, expect the Ed Helms -starring reboot to adopt exactly the same tack. According to Naked Gun director/co-writer David Zucker, talking up Airplane!'s screening at Nashville's Wild West Comedy Festival, the new version will not attempt to hit the same spoofy sweet spot as the Zuckers and Jim Abrahams' 1988 comedy. "It won’t be like the Naked Gun that I did," Zucker revealed. "It may be good, but it won’t be that kind of movie. They’re going to use the title. They asked me if I wanted to produce. They’re nice people, but they don’t want to do that style of spoof that I do." One departure...
