Here is your first official picture from Christopher Nolan's THE DARK KNIGHT RISES. The image that you see is Tom Hardy as Bane.

THE DARK KNIGHT RISES websites. At both TheDarkKnightRises.com and TheDarkKnightRises.WarnerBros.com. There’s no content yet, pitch black page but.. if you click on the page, it would take you to the sound file where you can hear crowd chanting. Sounds like they’re at a protest rally or a sports arena.

Overall, this is a brilliant campaign: Baffle your diehard fans enough that they’ll devote time and energy to cracking the code, setting off a viral avalanche of interest as people share their discovery across social networks.

SuperHeroHype Forums member ‘Riskproduction’ figured out that the chanting in the audio says “#thefirerises”, I guess that’s where we’ll tweet when there’s a TDKR topic ..and there is now a Twitter.com/TheFireRises account!

If you've seen Naked Gun - or The Naked Gun: From The Files Of Police Squad ! to give its full title - you'll know that it's a comedic masterpiece that springboards off astonishing levels of silliness and random spoofery. Leslie Nielsen's Frank Drebin is a loveable buffoon for the ages, even when he's discussing his dicky prostrate. Do not, however, expect the Ed Helms -starring reboot to adopt exactly the same tack.
