Cartoon Network's ThunderCats WonderCon Trailer

WonderCon became ThunderCon! today with the world premiere of a new trailer for ThunderCats, an all-new animated series from Warner Bros. Animation coming soon to Cartoon Network.

Warner Bros. Animation also presented the first-ever fan-convention panel for the new series at WonderCon, featuring producers Michael Jelenic (Batman: The Brave and the Bold) and Ethan Spaulding (Avatar: The Last Airbender), art director Dan Norton and Larry Kenney — who provides the voice of Claudus in the new ThunderCats and was the original Lion-O in the 1980s version. The four talked about the creative vision for the new series and also answered fan questions.


Based upon the iconic 1980s action classic, ThunderCats tells the epic tale of Lion-O and his battle against evil in the quest for the fabled Stones of Power. The series is executive produced by Sam Register (Teen Titans, Ben 10, Batman: The Brave and the Bold).

In the film, which officially kicks off phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Super-Hero partners Scott Lang ( Paul Rudd ) and Hope Van Dyne ( Evangeline Lilly ) return to continue their adventures as Ant-Man and the Wasp. Together, with Hope’s parents Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) and Janet Van Dyne ( Michelle Pfeiffer ), the family finds themselves exploring the Quantum Realm, interacting with strange new creatures and embarking on an adventure that will push them beyond the limits of what they thought was possible.
