BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

Frances O’Connor To Star In "Lumpy"

NEW YORK, NY – APRIL 29, 2011 —Dave Abbitt, Managing Member of Coll-Abbitt Productions, announced today that Frances O’Connor (Bedazzled) has joined the cast of Ted Koland’s directorial debut “Lumpy” starring Justin Long, Jess Weixler, Tyler Labine and Addison Timlin…

“Frances rounds LUMPY out as the perfect compliment to our already stellar cast,” said Abbitt. “Adeptly maintaining a strong presence while adding an underlying vulnerability to the role of Jaime.”

The best man at Scott (Long) and Kristin’s (Weixler) Arizona destination wedding, Lumpy (Labine) is the life of the party, until a long, indulgent night leads to his untimely death. Forced to cancel their honeymoon and fly back to Minneapolis to arrange for his funeral, Scott and Kristin meet Ramsey (Timlin) and learn that Lumpy isn’t quite who they thought he was.

O’Connor has signed on to play Ramsey’s mother, Jaime. O’Connor has several upcoming films including “The Hunter” with Willem Dafoe and Sam Neill and Marc Cherry’s “Hallelujah.”

The deal was negotiated by Dave Abbitt and Allison Band. O’Connor is represented by The Gersh Agency and Wishlab Inc.

LUMPY is being produced by Dave Abbitt, Jen Roskind, and Sharyn Steele. The film is being shot by Seamus Tierney (Adam, HappyThankYouMore Please). Koland has written and/or produced over eighty hours of one-hour, television drama.
