BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

Exclusive Interview With Cindy Morgan-She Talks TRON And Working With The Cast Again

I had the honor and pleasure to interview Cindy Morgan this weekend at Wonder Con, what a dream that was for me. Growing up a huge Tron fan I never thought I would get the opportunity to even meet or talk to her.

This weekend a little boys dream cam true. Cindy was so gracious with her time with me, she took the time out of her days to answer a few questions for me.

This is part one of my interview with Cindy.

We talked about the 1982 film TRON and about why she was excluded from TRON LEGACY. I even got her to talk about her first film Caddyshack.

I think that enough from me now onto our interview.

My first question for her was...

How was it playing the role of Lora/Yori in the Original TRON film. And how she felt when she first saw the script for the film.

It was great, she is more like me then you know. I looked at the character Lora and I when I got the job it was almost immediately. I came into one meeting and I was put on camera with Jeff, I hadn't realized that the Writer/director had seen me a couple of years before at a dinner. I was dating a job who got this job in a cartoon and he took me to a dinner with the director and producer and I thought that was nice. I was eating my dinner. And a couple of years later I get a call and put on tape and never made that connection. About 20 years later I asked the guy was that TRON and he said YES. I was out and your were in, he said to me that he was never going to take another actor out to dinner. So he was out and I was in. It wasn't like we were going for the same job and I didn't take his job. And that How I got it.

When I finally read the script, the other world didn't make alot of sense to me but I did identify with Lora. So I started to make some choices. I said all right if I am going to play a character who is in another world, if I were to make a computer program (I have a tech background) so I had to think of what I would do. It would probably carry a little bit of your memory, a little bit of your profile not all of it but just enough so that it has some recognition after.

With the DVD being release on April 5,2011, have you seen the film in Blu-Ray yet?

I heard it looks beautiful, I heard it transfers to the television gracious.

Did you participate in any of the extra on the DVD?

I participated in the viral event here last year.

I let her know that was my next question. So last year Bruce Boxleitner and yourself were here at Wonder Con participating in the viral campaign for the film TRON:LEGACY. Was there a reason why you were not in the actual film?

I hear lost of things, someone made a decision and they stuck with it. The one cool thing I think for everyone is that this is the 21st century this is media determined society and everything is driven to the internet. So because of that the most wonderful thing is that the fans have a voice. The fans have a voice and I am so thrilled to see that. These are the people the film belongs to. They kept it alive because of their love and their loyalty, so it belongs to them. When they rose up and started started speaking site like YoriLives. It's just incredible and make me feel so good.

So you have no animosity now that you were not in the film?

Oh no honey, there isn't one person I think is responsible, someone made a choice and a decision was made, cause sooner or later we will all be working together.(Has she heard something about the next film?)

So you would be willing to be in TRON 3 if it was made?

Of course are you kidding me. Life is to short. Before I was an actor I was in broadcasting so I have no confusion and if someone wants to have animosity god bless you, I don't waste time. I am all about the job!

I will be posting part two of my interview with Cindy Tomorrow.

John, thanks for posting this story. I, too, am a fan of the original Tron, and really enjoyed Tron: Legacy. I love the 'Flynn Lives' shirt, and wish I could have traveled down to WonderCon to see you and Marino. Hope we can talk next time he and Christine have one of their Geek Fests!

Sex Tape Review: Overly Sexual, Rude, Vulgar, and Absolutely Hilarious

The raunchy Sex Tape will divide audiences and critics, but who cares? Sex Tape suggests a growing practice among loving partners: that of making a raunchy testament of their escapades for posterity. But what happens when that evidence gets seen by friends, neighbors, and even the mailman? This is the plot that pits Jay (Jason Segel) and Annie (Cameron Diaz) in an effort to secure every iPad gift Jay has given, his record company playlists being the envy of the recipients, but which has also inadvertently spread the video to every device. The reason for the act - termed in the movie as pulling "the full Lincoln " for its three-hour length - stems from the couple's non-existent social life, brought on by the constant demands of their children. The couple has a lot to lose: a burgeoning business relationship between Annie and Hank (Rob Lowe) could end if the iPad she's given to Hank exposes the video, and so the couple sets out to reclaim and wipe the incrim...
