BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

TRON: Legacy Burton Snowboard Boot

TRON: Legacy Burton Snowboard Boot

First I wish I knew how to snowboard and second wish I had smaller feet. The largest this boot comes in according to the site is size 12. Douche. Make sure you add  a pair of Oakley's to this amazing ensemble.

Burton’s brand-new TRON: Legacy-themed snowboard boot is now hitting stores around the world. Inspired by Disney’s high-tech 3D adventure movie TRON: Legacy, the new boot is the result of a collaboration between Disney Consumer Products and Burton Snowboards.

The exclusive new TRON: Legacy model, part of the all-new Burton Raptor boot line, blends best-in-class tech with an aesthetic that mirrors the high-tech world of TRON. Inspired by the film’s strong graphic look and feel, the boot is made to look like something out of the future, but seen through the eyes of a snowboarder back in 1982 when the original TRON film was released. A holographic treatment on the upper boot brings the futuristic feel to life, backed by electric orange and aqua color blocking and linear detailing taken right from the images of TRON: Legacy. In addition, the boot features both Burton and TRON: Legacy branding on its exterior.

“I’ve always been a huge TRON fan since the original came out,” says Greg Dacyshyn, Chief Creative Officer of Burton Snowboards. “Working with Disney on the design of this boot was definitely a cool experience because the visual style, holograms and high-tech look of TRON really translated well into our snowboard boot design. The Raptor style is a sick new boot, and the TRON version brings it to the next level. Can’t wait to see these boots on the mountain, and of course we’re all amped to see the new flick.”

On the tech side of things, the all-new Raptor boot is the lightest weight Burton men’s boot ever created and features incredible comfort and lacing performance. Strategically placed power straps on the forefoot and upper cuff give riders the ability to fine-tune fit and comfort for fluid flex and added tweak. The TRON: Legacy model of the Burton Raptor snowboard boot is available in men’s sizes for $269.95.

For more info and/or availability of the TRON: Legacy boot or any other Burton products, head to your local snowboard shop, a Burton flagship store or burton.com. TRON: Legacy hits U.S. theaters on Dec. 17, 2010 in Disney Digital 3D™ and IMAX® 3D.

Naked Gun Reboot On It's Way

If you've seen Naked Gun - or The Naked Gun: From The Files Of Police Squad ! to give its full title - you'll know that it's a comedic masterpiece that springboards off astonishing levels of silliness and random spoofery. Leslie Nielsen's Frank Drebin is a loveable buffoon for the ages, even when he's discussing his dicky prostrate. Do not, however, expect the Ed Helms -starring reboot to adopt exactly the same tack. According to Naked Gun director/co-writer David Zucker, talking up Airplane!'s screening at Nashville's Wild West Comedy Festival, the new version will not attempt to hit the same spoofy sweet spot as the Zuckers and Jim Abrahams' 1988 comedy. "It won’t be like the Naked Gun that I did," Zucker revealed. "It may be good, but it won’t be that kind of movie. They’re going to use the title. They asked me if I wanted to produce. They’re nice people, but they don’t want to do that style of spoof that I do." One departure...
