Rachel Bilson Wants To Be Your BFF

Rachel Bilson is joining indie comedy "BFF and Baby" opposite Krysten Ritter and Kate Bosworth.

Ritter co-wrote "BFF" with director Kat Coiro, who's making her feature debut. Film revolves around two best friends who fight to maintain normalcy in their lives after Ritter's character gets pregnant and has a baby.

Production will take place in Los Angeles and start Oct. 19.

Justin Levine of Stardust Pictures ("Boy Toy," "A Holiday Heist") will finance and produce. Ritter, Coiro, David J. Phillips and Corbin Timbrook will co-produce.

Bilson's screen credits include "Jumper" and "The Last Kiss" along with guest star roles on "Chuck" and "How I Met Your Mother."

If you've seen Naked Gun - or The Naked Gun: From The Files Of Police Squad ! to give its full title - you'll know that it's a comedic masterpiece that springboards off astonishing levels of silliness and random spoofery. Leslie Nielsen's Frank Drebin is a loveable buffoon for the ages, even when he's discussing his dicky prostrate. Do not, however, expect the Ed Helms -starring reboot to adopt exactly the same tack.
