Gina Gershon & Danny Glover To Star In "Five Minarets"

Gina Gershon, Danny Glover and Robert Patrick will lead the cast of the indie film "Five Minarets in New York."

The movie is the English-language debut of Turkish writer-director Mahsun Kirmizigul, whose previous film, "I Saw the Sun," was Turkey's foreign-language film Oscar submission last year. Gershon will star as Maria, the wife of a Turkish scholar who is arrested by federal authorities after being wrongfully accused of a crime.

 Glover most recently appeared in "2012," "Blindness" and "Death at a Funeral."

Patrick,  recently appeared in "The Men Who Stare at Goats," "Strange Wilderness" and "Bridge to Terabithia."
