Mike Tyson Detained At Airport

Iron Mike Tyson In Trouble Again.

Former boxing champ Mike Tyson was detained by police at Los Angeles International Airport Wednesday afternoon while they investigated a scuffle between the former boxing champ and a photographer, police said.

Tyson, 43, was taken into custody by airport police after an incident at the United Airlines ticket counter at about 4:30 p.m., according to police Sgt. Jim Holcomb.

The photographer, who was following Tyson, fell to the floor after one punch from Tyson, Holcomb told CNN TV affiliate KABC.

He was taken to a hospital for treatment of a cut to his forehead suffered when he hit the floor, Holcomb said.

Tyson and the photographer each told police they wanted to file battery charges against the other, he said.

Tyson was put in a holding cell at the airport police station during the investigation, he said.

Tyson, former holder of the three major heavyweight world titles, retired from competitive professional boxing in 2005.

Leslie Nielsen's Frank Drebin is a loveable buffoon for the ages, even when he's discussing his dicky prostrate. Do not, however, expect the Ed Helms -starring reboot to adopt exactly the same tack. According to Naked Gun director/co-writer David Zucker, talking up Airplane!'s screening at Nashville's Wild West Comedy Festival, the new version will not attempt to hit the same spoofy sweet spot as the Zuckers and Jim Abrahams' 1988 comedy. "It won’t be like the Naked Gun that I did," Zucker revealed. "It may be good, but it won’t be that kind of movie. They’re going to use the title. They asked me if I wanted to produce. They’re nice people, but they don’t want to do that style of spoof that I do." One departure...
